Since the practice of inviting everyone to process to the front, and then fold arms as a sign not to receive, there is a distinctive lack of piety, let alone procession. Arms swinging at sides are as common as those folded in prayer. Closer to moving in a queue for a carnival ride than receiving the Body of Christ.
Everything you quoted from me was actually written by the dearly departed Fr. Paul Mankowski, SJ. I was quoting him. And everything he said is the truth.
Good point. The marvelous Fr. Mankowski in your book, etc. I should have said. Was blinded by the helpful points raised by Cardinal C., I guess. And nice going on your book.
Brilliant. I want to be you when I grow up. My reaction to the Cardinal’s silly but cruel edict was to just roll my eyeballs and say a prayer of thanks I don’t live in Illinois.

Yes with the comparisons. If there ever were a (bad) joke, it's this procession business. Nicely said.

Sing in the communion line? How about sing at all.
Let's focus on big things, like stopping Catholic Charities from flying illegal immigrants to and fro.
